Embark on an extraordinary canyoning adventure that veers off the conventional path – ready for anyone looking to try out canyoning. This captivating journey will lead you down a stunning and exhilarating canyon, creating memories that will last a lifetime.



 

We currently offer 2 locations for trips: Britannia Creek (Squamish), and Norrish Creek (Mission). More details below.

PLAN FOR THE DAY

  • Get ready for an action-packed day from morning till late afternoon (roughly 6-8 hours).

  • After the safety meeting, we will gear up and drive our personal vehicles to the trailhead of the canyon.

  • Depending on the canyon chosen, we may need to all get together in one vehicle to reach our trailhead.

  • We will leave the Canyon Vehicle at the end of the canyon, where we'll store our end-of-the-day dry clothes and towels. Please note that we may need to carpool for the vehicle retrieval.

  • Once at the canyon, we'll have practice sessions to ensure you're comfortable with the ropes and canyon techniques.

  • The real excitement begins as we embark on an exhilarating journey involving rappelling, walking, scrambling, sliding, and optional jumps into deep pools.

What to Bring:

  • Packed Lunch

  • Rashguard (optional)

  • GoPro or waterproof camera (optional)


Equipment Provided:


We supply top-quality canyoning gear: wetsuits, shoes, harnesses, helmets, and waterproof bags for your lunch.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Changes to the participation date can be requested up to ten days before the activity start date, subject to availability. An administration fee of $25 per person or a 75% refund will apply. Cancellations within 48 hours of the activity are non-refundable. Please note that cancellations and booking changes must be made in writing (via email or text) and are considered confirmed only when acknowledged by West Coast Canyoning Adventures.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Safety is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, we reserve the right to reschedule activities. If rescheduling is not possible a refund or credit will be issued.

MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS THRESHOLD

​To ensure an engaging experience, we have a minimum participants threshold. If an activity does not meet the minimum requirement of three (3) participants, we may need to reschedule. However, we can offer the option to transfer participants into a private class for an additional fee. If you do not agree to this arrangement, a full refund will be provided.

BRITANNIA CREEK

The Britannia Creek Canyon, nestled north of Vancouver, offers a canyoning experience characterized by rugged beauty and challenging terrain. This canyon is renowned for its dramatic rock formations, cascading waterfalls, and narrow gorges, providing participants with a thrilling adventure through nature's formidable obstacles. With opportunities for rappelling down steep cliffs, navigating swift currents, and exploring unique geological features, Britannia Creek Canyon caters to adrenaline seekers seeking a physically demanding yet rewarding canyoning experience.

Meeting Point for the Sea to Sky Canyons:

Outbound Station, located at O|S 27400 Sea-to-Sky Hwy, Britannia Beach, BC.

8:30 a.m. for a safety meeting and preparation before we set off.

 

This will also be your last opportunity to use the restroom facilities and grab a cup of coffee at the coffee shop, where they serve amazing burgers for a satisfying end to the day.

FRASER VALLEY - NORRISH CREEK

Dive into the excitement at Norrish Creek, an accessible adventure spot for all skill levels. This natural playground delights with waterslides crafted by centuries of water flow, providing fun as they slide into refreshing pools.

The adventure intensifies with a unique zipline experience that ends with a splash, blending flight's thrill with water excitement. Now, adding rappelling to the mix, adventurers can descend the rugged canyon walls, feeling the rush of vertical exploration.

Norrish Creek also invites all ages to enjoy cliff jumping, from beginners to thrill-seekers, against the stunning backdrop of the canyon.

This destination is notably family-friendly, where adults and kids alike can enjoy their time together, laughing down the canyon. It's the perfect blend of outdoor fun, excitement, and natural beauty, making for an unforgettable outing. Whether it's sliding, ziplining, rappelling, or jumping, Norrish Creek promises an engaging experience for adventurers of any age.
